How Tourette's Trucking Inc. got started

This was my start in trucking in 2004

My trucking career started in April of 2004. I attended Roadmaster truck driving school in Jacksonville, FL in February/March and then went to work for Stevens Transport in Garland, TX. Unfortunately, it was almost impossible to get home as a company driver, so I needed to go contractor to get home. This was how the start of becoming an Owner operator came in to play.

My 1st truck as an owner operator

In 2006 I contracted with Roger's Cartage in GA which that terminal was 100% owner ops. Through them if you didn't have a truck, you could purchase their old trucks for an affordable price and lease on. As you can see, I got a real humbling experience with this old POS truck, but it did get me started to where I am today.

My 2nd truck

After lots of hard work, I was finally able to afford a better truck and got this one from Nacarato truck sales in Atlanta, GA. in 2008

In 2011 I made a brief change to flatbed

This was not for me. I ended back yanking tanks.

3rd truck. High roof 2012

2012

Oct. 2015- 4th and FINALLY a brand new 2016 Fitzgerald Glider truck

After running harder than most at our terminal I saved up and purchased a brand new truck.

July 2022

I have bought another truck from TMC truck sales to start building a small fleet where I contract with at M. Gibson Trucking Inc. This will be for a company driver.

11/2022

In November of 2022 I officially changed my business name from "Twin 1 Transport Inc." to "Tourette's Trucking Inc.". When I was 45 years old, I was officially diagnosed with ADHD and moderate Tourette's Syndrome. When stressed or anxious my Tourette's tics seem to get worse. I have lots of facial and body tics. My wife talked me into embracing my disorder and making videos so I could see the tics. As a result, in 2020 I started the YouTube channel "The Tourettes Trucker". My Daughter created my logo from my truck and we decided to link the YouTube channel and the Trucking business together. Here we are now in Late 2022 and our goal now is to grow the fleet by several more trucks in the upcoming years.

3/17/2023

On March, 17, 2023 We picked up our 3rd truck to add to our fleet. This one should be ready to go around summertime. It will be issued to a driver with a Thermo King Apu, fridge, microwave, internet, dish network, and other fine amenities to make the drivers job easier and more comfortable.
